Activity: Maria Luisa Park. How to Get There: Prado de San Sebastian Light Rail Station. It’s right next to Plaza de Espana. Cost: Free, surrey rental €10/30 mins (it’s long enough!) Hours: Sunrise to sunset.
We had so much fun at this park! We actually stopped here a few times between activities. The park itself isn’t as big as some city parks (Golden Gate, Central Park, Hyde Park) so it’s pretty manageable to see the whole thing.
The park is filled with Seville’s trademark intricate ceramic tile work and lush palm trees overlooking ponds. There are a few playgrounds to choose from. Our child also enjoyed playing on the roots of the Banyan tree.
Our favorite thing we did here was rent a surrey for 30 minutes to see the whole park! We rode through Plaza de Espana and it was one of those travel moments you never forget. Afterwards, we got slushees and watched our little boy play on the train playground near the slushee stands.
