San Francisco Itinerary: Teens and Adults

San Francisco Itinerary: Teens and Adults

This itinerary will work well for teens and adults who like to travel fast and see everything! Am I allowed to have a favorite age? Well I do and I LOVE teenagers. They are honest inquisitive people who are developing their interests and acquiring life skills. My first international trip was when I was 16 years old and it obviously had a very big impression! I’ve put shortened versions of the history of most spots and included lots of Instagrammable locations. A bit of advice for traveling with teens: give them time to take their pictures! My teenage nieces and nephews love documenting and showing where they’ve been to their friends, but along the way they are developing some amazing photography and editing skills.

For younger kids, see our itinerary for babies and toddlers (under 5) and elementary school aged kids (5-11). Also make sure to check out our San Francisco With Kids: What to Know Before You Go to see if any activities require advance booking. Our Arrival in San Francisco post will cover information on any metro passes you may need to get.
