Activity: Harrods. Tube Stop: Knightsbridge on the Piccadilly line. Use the Brompton Road exit for Harrods. Cost: Free. Hours: 10-9.
Get excited for Harrods. This is less of a store and more of a clothes museum. Start in the food court and take a look at all the shaped jellies. Visit the savory food court for dinner. When we went here, Alex really wanted a meat pasty. He bought one and then I am pretty sure he asked every single worker in that store to heat up his pasty. None of them complied. So he had to eat a cold meat pasty while I ate delicious Indian food. I am telling you, British food is not worth it. Stick with foreign.
Visit the dress section and admire all the fancy dresses. I like checking the prices on the lingerie to see how much the rich pay for their bras. Don't forget the toy section! It's featured in the movie Peter Rabbit. I also like the baby gear section. I will never forget the $4000 Aston Martin pram (stroller) we saw there. I wonder if babies are less likely to spit up on Aston Martin strollers than crappy Target strollers.
