Heart of Rome Walk With Kids

Heart of Rome Walk With Kids

Activity: Heart of Rome Walk. Metro Stop: C.so Vittorio Emanuele/Navona Cost: Free. Hours: Always Open

Heart of Rome Walk. Meet Rick Steves. He is my favorite. He makes a ton of free audioguides that you can download through his app. Download them in advance to make sure they are ready when you want them.

Start your walk by grabbing dinner in Campo de’ Fiori. Forno, the pizza place comes highly recommended. Get some takeout pizza and eat it in the square. Or if you don't like pizza (is that even possible?) you can always eat at one of the other restaurants in Campo de’ Fiori.

Forno: Vicolo del Gallo 14

Follow the Heart of Rome walk all the way to the Spanish Steps. Enjoy seeing the Pantheon all lit up as well as the Trevi Fountain (my favorite spot in Rome, thanks Lizzie McGuire). After the Pantheon take the detour to Giolitti’s! It’s the most famous gelato in Rome. Have fun trying to pick just one flavor. I like their dark chocolate a lot.

Giolitti's: Via Uffici del Vicario 40
